Shah Rukh Khan is at present at the beautiful location of Wai, in Maharashtra. He is busy shooting for the film ‘Chennai Express’. Rohit Shetty is directing the film and glamorous Deepika Padukone is her leading lady in the movie. This is the 2nd time that SRK is paired with Deepika onscreen after ‘Om Shanti Om’. Incidentally that was also the debut movie of Deepika Padukone.
Rohit Shetty is working for the first time with King Khan of Bollywood in this project and it seems they are gelling really well. Rohit had his birthday on 14th of March and Shah Rukh Khan arranged a surprise birthday party for the man at the Wai hotel and invited his family to the big bash.
A source from the location stated that, “It was a classy affair. The entire cast and crew were invited and SRK’s co-star Deepika Padukone was also present. SRK had made sure that none of the unit members informed Rohit about the party.”
It was a fun filled evening and SRK made it extra special by presenting Rohit Shetty with an Ed Hardy bike. Shah Rukh knew about Rohit Shetty’s passion for cars and bikes and decided to gift this state of the art two wheeler. No doubt that the director is overwhelmed by the gesture of the super star.
We all knew that King Khan has a golden heart and he is well known for his generous gifts. However, this time he has surpassed himself. The bike costs a lot and is a collector’s item among millions of bike lovers worldwide.
In a photo taken at the shooting location, Rohit Shetty was seen riding the bike as SRK and Deepika Padukone looked on from the background. The director was pleased as a punch for obvious reason.
Two cute bows made from pink silky ribbon were attached on the handles of the macho bike and a big ribbon was placed on top of the oil tank. Lot of chrome finish on the black bike is certainly giving it a mean and macho look. Almost reminds you of the legendary Harley Davidson classic American choppers. No wonder it is part of the boy’s toys.
So will we see the bike making a special appearance in ‘Chennai Express’? We do not know. Let us wait for the movie to release on the big screen on Eid this year.
