Theft at Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow Jalsa

Police today early morning picked up five domestic help from Amitabh Bachchan

’s bungalow Jalsa at Juhu for questioning. It is reported that Rs 25,000 cash and some valuables are missing from Amitabh Bachchan’s residence. This is the second time in less than a year Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow has been theft. In July, last year an impostor, later identified as Dilip Kevat, stole Rs 8,000 from Bachchan's room. The Bachcahns do want to make a hullabaloo of the incident. They did not file an FIR of the incident and also asked the cops to be softening during the interrogation with their staff. They just wanted to know whether it is an insider’s job or some outsider was involved.
After interrogating all the members of the staff, three of them were released and two are still facing police questioning. No arrest has been made so far.
Juhu Senior Inspector Arun Bhagat, confirmed the incident at Jalsa, but refused to divulge any details. "The Bachchans have asked us not to discuss the matter with anyone," he said.
Police suspect that it is an insiders job as no everyone has the access to the room where the cash and other valuables were kept.
Additional Commissioner Vishwas Nangre Patil said it would be too early to comment on the case. "Cash has gone missing from the house, but it's too early to comment if it is a case of house-breaking or if an insider was involved. Investigations are on."
