Big B, Vidya Balan, Jackie Shroff come forward for Sanjay Dutt

Who says this film industry is heartless? In a gesture of sweeping generosity and largesse many of Sanjay Dutt’s close friends from Bollywood have come forward to ensure his production house keeps moving ahead even as Dutt readies himself for imminent incarceration.

Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan, and Jackie Shroff would be making cameo appearances in Sanjay Dutt Production 'Hasmukh Pighal Gaya', a rom-com featuring  Dutt’s niece Nazia Hussain and legendary filmmaker O.P Ralhan’s grandson Armaan in the lead.

The film directed by Sejal Shah quietly began shooting this month.

Confirming the star-cameos, choreographer Ahmed Khan, who is currently shooting a very unusual song with the lead pair says, “We are all with Sanju Baba. The show must and will go on. We’re currently shooting this film. Amitji and Vidya have solid cameo roles in the film. Sanju Baba and Jackie will also be making an appearance.”

The idea behind starting this small film is  to keep Sanjay Dutt Productions operational in Dutt’s absence.

Dutt , we hear, would be making his cameo appearance as soon as he completes his other pending assignments.

Says Ahmed, “Baba is committed to completing his work for other productions before he makes time for his own film.”

Ahmed is currently shooting a very unusual song for Hasmukh Pighal Gaya. It’s a duet picturized in  a boxing ring.

Elaborates Ahmed, “The girl and the boy are fighting in the boxing ring. She’s punching him to a bleeding mess. He of course can’t punch her back,since guys raising their hands on girls is not allowed. The song is called Madhoshiyan (oblivion) because it’s about driving one another senseless.”
