Directed by Aanand L Rai of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ fame, ‘Raanjhanaa’ marks the debut of Dhanush in Bollywood. The trailer has been able to win the hearts of the audience. Extensively shot in Banaras, the trailer shows Sonam and Dhanush as high school friends playing and gradually Dhanush falls head over heels for Sonam. There takes a twist in the tale when Abhay Deol comes into picture.
Music Maestro AR Rahman composed the music of ‘Raanjhanaa’. The melodious background score gives a fresh feeling to the movie. Sonam and Dhanush’s love has been shown in varying ages from childhood to adult. In one of the posters of the movie, it shows Dhanush riding Sonam in a scooter.
The pairing of the film is very contrasting, simple Dhanush with stylish Sonam and it would add to the film curiosity and excitement.
Produced by Krishika Lulla, ‘Raanjhanaa ' will hit the theatres on June 21, 2013.
