Gauri Khan and Shahrukh Khan were blessed with a baby boy on 27th May and therefore the Gauri has decided to stay back to take care of her new born baby. Gauri who accompanies her husband Shahrukh in almost every event skipped IIFA awards for her new born child. Shahrukh arrived at IIFA sans his wife.
As per report, Sharukh Khan’s baby is named Abram (a variant of Abraham) and he born on the 34th weeks of pregnancy to a surrogate mother and weight around 1.5 kg.
Today BMC has received the birth report of SRK’s surrogate baby. The baby was born at Masarni hospital and then he was taken to Nanavati hospital and then to Breach Candy hospital and finally to his abode ‘Mannat’. BMC executive health officer Dr Arun Bamne confirmed the baby’s birth.
On Tuesday, Bamne told, "We have received from Masrani Nursing Home a birth report, which has to be mandatorily filed by nursing homes and hospitals to register every birth in the city."
There has been some controversy regrading the surrogate mother. Some say Gauri Khan’s sister-in-law Namita Chibber is the surrogate mother as Namita also gave birth to a baby boy around the same time while Khan’s family member said that the surrogate mother flew back to London.
During the music launch of ‘Chennai Express’, Shahrukh Khan was flooded with questions related to his surrogate baby and King Khan answered that it is a very personal and confidential issue and he is not keen to talk about it at the moment. He also added that the feeling is a blend of happiness and sadness.
"It is a personal and confidential matter...it is a mix of happiness and sadness. I request the authorities concerned to continue to enthusiastically investigate about my baby," he told reporters at the music launch of his upcoming film 'Chennai Express' here tonight.
"Get over it. Get on the train baby, and not my baby. Will talk about all this later," he told reporters when he was bombarded with questions related to his new born baby.
When media asked the 47-year-old King Khan how does it feel to become father for the third time, he shot back in his typical style: "Ask your health reporter."
The celebrity couple has two children - son Aryan and daughter Suhana.
