Hrithik Roshan undergoes successful brain surgery

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan underwent successful brain surgery at the Hinduja Hospital in Khar. He was admitted on Saturday evening and was operated in the afternoon today and came out of the operation theatre around 3.
The operation was carried out to remove a two-month-old blood clot in brain. He will be discharged in a couple of days, according to the hospital sources. He is going fine.
"Hrithik was performing stunts for his upcoming film 'Bang Bang' two months ago and he suffered an injury on his head. He started developing pain and hence he started taking pain killers but they wouldn't work. So, he went for a CT scan in May end, which confirmed that he developed clotting in brain”, a source informed.
His parents Rakesh and Pinky Roshan and his wife Suzanne Roshan were present throughout the 50-minute neuro-surgery.
Rakesh Roshan said: "The surgery is over and Hrithik is fine. He should be out of the hospital in the next 48 hours."
“Hrithik is out of danger and on way to complete recovery”, he added.
Before the surgery, Rakesh Roshan told IANS that there was “a clot in the brain”, and that in medical terms it's called “chronic subdural hematoma”.
Hrithik Roshan too had informed about the surgery through his Facebook post. "Minor brain surgery to remove blood clot. Should be rock n rolling by evening! U guys have a great day too! Supersonic!!" tweeted Hrithik.
Wife Sussanne Roshan thanked all for their“gratitude, good wishes and prayers”. "Thank you for all your love and concern, Hrithik has come out of the surgery stronger than ever before. Gratitude and love to all of you for all your good wishes and prayers for him,” Sussanne said in a statement.
We wish the superstar a speedy recovery!
