Kiran Rao's request to the Egyptian actress Aida

Aida, who is currently participating in the nationwide protests in her country, has been asked by Kiran Rao to return to promote 'Ship of Theseus'

Far away from Bollywood on the streets of Egypt, Aida El Kashef was busy taking part in the nationwide protests against the former Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi.

But after being beckoned by Kiran Rao to join the promotions of her upcoming film Ship of Theseus in India, the actress is all set to fly down. With her portrayal of a blind girl in Anand Gandhi's film, Aida has already garnered a lot of attention.



Finally, Kiran, who is presenting the film, asked Aida to join the promotions in the run up to the film's release. The actress is all set to join the rest of the cast during the week of the film's release on July 19. Says Kiran, `I admire her work in the film and am looking forward to meet her.`
