Nargis Fakhri Gears up for an Item Song

Nargis Fakhri is all set to show her groovy moves in an item number for the upcoming film ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero'. She will be doing this dance number with Shahid Kapoor. The lead actors of this movie are Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’ Cruz. The item song has been composed by Pritam. The song is choreographed by Bosco Caeser. A popular stylist has been asked to design costumes of this song.

Nargis is quite excited with this new project. She has been watching other item songs and getting inspiration for those killer moves. With this item song, Nargis Fakhri will be presented in a different avatar.
Earlier Nargis was offered to do an item song in director Punit Malhotra’s movie “Gori Tere Pyaar Mein”. But the actress refused telling that she had no time for item songs as she was busy with ‘Madras Café’. Later Punit replaced her with Esha Gupta, who acted in ‘Jannat 2’.
Nagris Fakhri was a fashion model before she chose Bollywood as her career. Fakhri was born in US to Czech mother and Pakistani father. Her parents got divorced when she was very small. Fakhri participated in ‘America’s Next Top Model’. She later also posed for Kingfisher swimsuit calendar in 2009.
Nargis Fakhri made a debut in Bollywood with 2011 released movie ‘Rockstar’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She also appeared in a number of commercials post the release of her debut movie. In her debut movie, she received mixed reviews from critics. She was not seen as a wholesome package.
Fakhri has signed a 3 movies contract with Akshay Kumar’s production house ‘Hari Om Productions’. Nargis was also invited in 2013 to US to be the advisor for Hollywood and Bollywood entertainment related business. Her next movie ‘Madras Café’ will be released in 2013. She has two movies slated for 2014 release. They are ‘Main Tera Hoon’ and remake of ‘Shaukeen’.
‘Madras Café’ is a political thriller movie directed by Shoojit Sircar. John Abraham plays the lead character along with Nargis Fakhri. John Abraham plays the role of an Indian intelligence agent while Fakhri plays the role of an international reporter. The movie is shot mainly in India and Sri Lanka. The trailer of the movie will be released with the release of ‘Bhag Milkha Bhag’ on 12^th July. The movie will be released on 23^rd August. Apart from these actors, Ayushman Khurana and Jacqueline Fernandez also appear in this movie.
