Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan turns 47 today and the King Khan decided to go for a quiet birthday with family and few friends. King Khan is in no mood to celebrate birthday as his two dearest persons, Yash Chopra and his make-up man passéd away in a gap of one week.
"There’s no plan. I will spend time with the kids. We will sit together in the evening and will get some gifts," Shahrukh said.
"There’s nothing media wise interesting about my birthday," the actor added.
Like he does every year, SRK will meet his fans outside his bungalow Mannat and meet media persons. “Like every year, I’ll meet the people and take their blessings. However, there won’t be a huge bash. I guess I will be working from home, giving interviews for Jab Tak Hai Jaan,” Shah Rukh said.
Due to sudden demise of his mentor Yash Chopra, SRK put his birthday plans on the backburner.
"It’s not because Yashji (Chopra) passed away. I am very embarrassed by big birthday parties. We have never done that. From childhood, we have never done anything like this and as a family we aren’t open to the idea," he said in an interview.
Shahrukh Khan has a successful career graph. He starred in several blockbusters like 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Yes Boss' and 'Dil To Pagal Hai' 'Mohabbatein', 'Kal Ho Naa Ho', 'Pardes', 'Veer Zara' and 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' and many more.
His journey to stardom is eventful and commendable. He is tagged as the king of romance.
Shahrukh Khan also hosted TV reality shows like ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ and Zor Ka Jhatka’.
