Big B takes Aaradhya for polio vaccination



Amitabh Bachchan has been a brand ambassador of polio vaccination for many years and his association with the noble cause has proved wonders. The percentage of children affected by physical disability has reduced a lot and Amitabh Bachchan is thrilled having associated with this social cause. In the polio ad, he asked everyone to go and give their children polio, ‘Ek bund zindagi ka’. The megastar says he practices what he preaches and walking on the path, he took his granddaughter Aaradhya for polio drops.
"Two drops of the polio vaccine to Aaradhya... overseen by government officials. Just so it is put on record. To practice what I preach," Mr Bachchan tweeted on Thursday night.
Aaradhya Bachchan, the first child of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai has got her first polio drop in April this year. The toddler will turn one yr on November 16.
Amitabh says the process "went well", and proposes it is not at all painful for children.

"The little one does not get an injection... it is just literally two drops of the polio vaccine into their mouths. Went off well," he added.
Aaradhya makes her first public appearance on her dadaji’s 70th birthday. She shared the platform with her mom, dad, grandpa, grandpa and aunty. Next, she was spotted at her mother Aishwarya’s birthday.
Post the birth of her little one, Aishwarya has taken break from work. But she has recently announced her comeback and said that she is reading scripts and would sign one soon.
