Kareena to wear Karisma’s costume for Dabangg 2

The newlywed Bebo not just stepped into the shoes of her sister by joining filmdom but is also going to slip into her costume for a dance number in Dabangg 2.
The buzz is that the damsel is all set to do an item number in the movie and will adorn a costume that was worn by her sister, Karishma Kapoor some eighteen years ago.
Karishma Kapoor the elder sister of the Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor is informally referred to as Lolo. Karishma has contributed to the Bollywood film industry with her performance in movies like Deedar, Jigar, Anari, Muqabla, Raja Babu, Khuddar, Aatish: Feel the Fire, Andaz Apna Apna, Coolie No. 1, Saajan Chale Sasural, Bal Bramhachari, Raja Hindustani, Rakshak, Judwaa, Hero No. 1, Lahu Ke Do Rang, Dil To Pagal Hai, Biwi No.1, Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Fiza and Zubeidaa to name a few. Lolo debuted in Bollywood with the movie Prem Qaidi, though the movie did not fare well in the box office; the lovely lady went on to steal millions of hearts.
We had previously seen Karishma Kapoor shaking her legs with Govinda in the movie Raja Babu. Karishma set the sets on fire with her move in the red kurta and lungi that she wore in the song Sarkai Lo Khatiya Jada Lage. Kareena will repeat the history by donning herself in a similar dress in her item song ‘Fevicol’. The item number in the movie Dabangg 2 will have Salman Khanopposite Kareena.
Bebo’s love and respect for Lolo can be seen oozing out at this, when she agrees to wear the costume at once. When the idea first sprouted, Kareena agreed to it since she adores her sister and her dressing sense.
An insider who is close to Kareena said “Kareena will be wearing a similar dress, but this time it will be in black.”
The insider continues, “Kareena and her designer friend Manish Malhotra brainstormed and came up with the final dress design. Both Bebo and Karishma are excited about it. Besides the color, the only other major difference would be the length.

Bebo, unlike Karishma, won’t be wearing that long a lungi. It has been modified to suit today’s times.”
Bebo has already started her rehearsals for the song; post her marriage with Saif Ali Khan. She is rehearsing in none other than Mehboob Studio with Farah Khan.
Apparently, the song is scheduled to be shot with Salman Khan and Kareena from the 5^th of November.  This number will be Kareena’s first work after her wedding.
