Katrina Kaif feels sad for unable to shoot the last song of JTHJ

The British Indian actress, who hails from London, was looking forward to complete the shooting of her last song sequence for the movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan. However due to the untimely demise of the veteran director of Hindi Film Industry, Yash Chopra, the romantic song that was to be shot in Switzerland remained incomplete. Though Yashji had finished the shooting of the movie, he was yet to shoot just a small portion of the song.
The song was to have Katrina Kaif romance with her co-star Shah Rukh Khan amidst the beauty of Switzerland. Switzerland stands as the location that is seen in most of Yash Chopra movies, it acts more or less like a trademark in his films. Just before he could complete the shooting Mr Chopra was hospitalized on the 13th of October for he was suffering from dengue and later, the 21st of the month witnessed his demise due to multiple organ failure.
The beautiful actress feels she will be deprived of the picturesque moments imparted to his female leads by the director. This is saddening the ever bold and beautiful Katrina.
Katrina said the following during a press conference "It is sad that we did not get to shoot it (the song). We had zeroed in one of the sari out of the 12 that were designed. I remember him (Yash Chopra) saying that it will be a party when we shoot in Switzerland."
She continued, "We had planned the sequence for the song as in how it will be shot in cold water and all of that. It is unfortunate that I won’t be able to do it."
She was to be draped in a white chiffon sari, designed by none other than Manish Malhotra. In a previous interview Manish Malhotra mentioned how he and the late director planned about the various aspects of the song sequence.
On the other hand Shah Rukh Khan who has been the lead in many of Yash Chopra films earlier conveyed that the remaining part of the song will not be shot since it will not match the thoughts and vision of Chopra ji. He said, "Just a minute and a half portion of the song was to be shot in Switzerland which we all wanted to have. For doing that portion of the song we don’t have the heart. We will make it impure if we had to shoot... We have enough material for the song."
The film Jab Tak hai Jaan, is making a lot of buzz with the death of Yash ji and the incomplete song. It is also building a lot of curiosity among the fans since it is the last we have from Yash Chopra who has given a new meaning to Bollywood and is a king in portraying romance.
The movie is scheduled to release on the 13th of November and a huge footfall is what we expect to see.
