Salman refuses to touch Kareena

Dabangg 2” preparations are going on in full swing. This time around the newly-wed Kareena Kapoor will step into Malaika’s shoes to do an item number featuring Salman. Kareena will be back to work on November 5th, and will start shooting this number which has been titled ‘Fevicol’.
However, the news that is doing the rounds is that there will be no physical closeness between Salman and Kareena. The song will be choreographed by Farah Khan who has been specifically asked to synchronize it with both these stars far apart.
This clause may seem has been stated by Kareena or her in-laws, however, it is surprising that none of this has been the concern of the actress or her in-laws but her co-star Salman Khan himself.
The actor has also briefed Farah Khan to see to it that the raunchiness and the bawdy moments of the song is toned down. This is only because Karishma Kapoor has been a very close friend to Salman as they worked in many films together, and even now Salman thinks of Kareena as his friend and co-star’s kid sister.
A source closely associated to Salman reported to TOI, “There are absolutely no post-marital do's and don'ts for Kareena. She is free to do what she likes. There are no restrictions on her. The women in the Pataudi family whether it is Sharmila or Soha, are free to do what they think is right and Kareena is no exception. The decision to keep the item song at a fun-but-decorous level comes from Salman himself."

Salman has wanted the number with Kareena to be done tastefully, right from the start. The source added "And after the wedding, he is even more conscious of his co-star Lolo's baby sister Bebo being Mrs Kapoor Khan". Salman had to go through a similar situation while filming Dabangg’s ‘Munni Badnaam’ song with sister-in-law Malaika Arora Khan.

In the meantime, what is attention-grabbing is that the two projects which Kareena Kapoor has signed post marriage; that is item song for ‘Dabangg 2’ and Prakash Jha directed ‘Satsang’ requires her to be modest and mannerly.  ‘Dabangg 2’ will have her performing without getting too cheesy with Salman and ‘Satsang’ requires no intimate scenes with co-star Ajay Devgn.

The theme of the item number in “Dabangg 2” is being kept under wraps by its new director Arbaaz Khan. Farah Khan was not available for comment.
