SRK-Ranbir duo soon to be seen in KJo’s next

Karan Johar is having a good time at the box-office with all his films being a hit. His kind of films has always been larger-than-life but still manages to garner attention for the same from its audiences. With time his production house has developed into a mighty banner.
What makes him to be in the news, post “Student of the Year”, is that the actors Ranbir Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan may appear in his next movie venture.
Reports claim that Karan wants to make a period romance film. The project will need two heroes as the lead in the film. Therefore the obvious first choice of Karan had to be Shahrukh Khan, who is a close friend. SRK, for the same reason, has been the face of many of his films and has also been the lucky mascot of Karan’s banner.  Incidentally, “Student of the Year” was co-produced by the star himself.
When it comes to Ranbir Kapoor, he is being considered for his acting skills apart from the long-standing association that he has with Karan.
Ranbir first worked with “Dharma Productions” for the film “Wake up Sid” (2009) which steered his film career uphill. Before that his debut film “Saawariya” (2007) had bombed and “Bachna Ae Haseeno”(2008) had done fairly well at the theatres but did nothing to establish him as an ‘actor’. It was “Wake up Sid” that changed everything for good, for him.
Also now, this star is working as the hero for the upcoming Ayan Mukerji film, “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” which again is being produced by Karan.
Work on the latest project will start in the month of November, 2013. By that time, the heroines, the remaining ancillary cast members and the crew for the film will get finalized.
The recent developments state that SRK has already been finalized for the film whereas Ranbir has still not taken any decision.
The film’s plot had been a dream project of Karan Johar’s father, late Yash Johar. He had also been to Lahore to research on the plot but due to his demise the project had been shelved.  Karan now plans to revive this film with the biggest stars of this industry.
It seems the movie buffs and the Shahrukh fans have plenty of good news to look forward to. King Khan once again in a romantic role will be a treat to watch out for.
