Vidya Balan’s marriage is on the cards and it is almost confirmed that she will have December wedding with her boyfriend Siddharth Roy Kapur. Though the duo has been tight-lipped about their impending wedding, designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee confirmed Vidya Balan’s wedding.
Sabyasachi Mukherjee is helming Vidya’s wedding trousseau which comprises 18 hand-crafted saris. "She has placed an order for 18 saris with us. Out of that, two will be bridal wear and rest can be worn by the bride during the day. Apparently, Vidya will be getting married in the morning according to Tamil traditions. Though most of the saris are ready, the ones that will be based on Madras silk, will be done by Pepsi (Sabyasachi's nick name) himself. We are waiting for him to come back from London. On his way back he is going to stop over in Chennai to source the silk," one of Sabya's staff members told.
"The deadline that we are working on for delivering the saris is December 1," the tabloid quoted the source as saying. This has cemented rumours of a December-wedding for the couple.
The wedding will he held in south Indian style in a temple in South India and it will be followed by a grand reception in Mumbai.
Vidya has apparently taken leave from the shooting of her film, ‘Ghanchakkar’ opposite Emraan Hashmi for the wedding. Siddharth will also be off from work for 15 days. Vidya and Siddharth has been dating for almost two years. In May this year, Vidya confessed that she has someone special in her life. Siddharth has purchased a sea facing bungalow worth Rs 14 crore for Vidya and the actress has decorated the house. After wedding, they will move to the new house.
Describing her relationship, Vidya Balan said, "Undhiyu is the word that describes our relationship - tasty, sweet, spicy and salty. It has everything," she had said earlier in an interview.
