‘Aashiqui 2’ enters 100 crore club




The next film to join the league of successful movies making 100 crore benchmark at the box-office is Mohit Suri
Mohit Suri directed and Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor’s starrer ‘Aashiqui 2’. Made on a budget of 9 crore, the film has entered the 100 crore club in one month of it’s release.This is the first Bollywood movie in 2013 to have scored 100 crore mark.
The musical love story was Aditya Roy Kapur's first solo venture and was equally important for Shraddha Kapoor to make big in Bollywood.  The film was produced by Vishesh film and T-series. Mukesh Bhatt of Vishesh Films is elated with the success of the movie and says they have set a trend with the film.

Mukesh Bhatt of Vishesh Films is elated with the film success. "I am very happy because I am the only producer who has given biggest blockbusters with newcomers... As a producer what can give me more joy than that," Bhatt told IANS.

Bhushan Kumar, chief managing director, T-Series, is too rejoicing the film’s success.

"With the blessing of my father Gulshan Kumarji under the able guidance of Bhatt saab and the dynamic pre-release efforts of my T-Series team in a limited period of three weeks, Aashiqui 2 has become a new landmark film with relatively new faces in the 100th year of Indian cinema," said Kumar in a statement.
After the film success, the makers threw a grand bash. Aditya also celebrated 'Aashiqui 2' success with his family. His sister-in-law and versatile Bollywood actress Vidya Balan threw a private party to celebrate Aditya's first solo hit.
‘Aashiqui 2’ is a story of two lovers and their ups and down in life. The film is about sacrifice, love, greed, hatred.
