No love sparks between Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha in OUATIM sequel

Yes, you heard it right! Akshay Kumar has not been paired opposite Sonakshi Sinha in the sequel of ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again’. In fact, the second male lead Imran Khan will do the honour of romancing Shotgun’s daughter on-screen.

It may be noted here, that the makers had kept the love angle under wraps. Sonakshi was touted as being paired opposite Akshay and Imran. But, we bring you an exclusive conversation with Imran Khan, where he spills the beans.

“Sonakshi and I play lovers in the film,” reveals Imran. When we probed further about whether he will continue portraying timid love boy image yet again like in his previous films namely, ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ and ‘Break Ke Baad’, he replies, “I may be playing a gangster in Once upon…who is a very strong personality in front of goons but when it comes to his lady-love, he turns a dove. I think I love playing soft lover boy (winks).”

So, is Sonakshi a dominating girlfriend in the film? “No, Sonakshi plays a girl who has migrated from Kashmir and too is very gentle. She plays a loving person with no attitude like uptown girl,” he exclaims (chuckles).

Now, that it is out- not Akshay but Imran will romance Ms. Sinha. It will be interesting to wait and watch their chemistry on-screen.
