From Kareena Kapoor to Aishwarya Rai, Farah Khan to Malaika Arora Khan, you name a Bollywood couple and most likely you will find the lady in the house paying most of the bills with her fat pay cheque. 

Even in Hollywood, Angelina takes a fatter pay cheque than Brad Pitt. Sex and the City's Sarah Jessica Parker walks away with more money than husband Matthew Broderick.

Kareena Kapoor went on to become the highest paid female lead in 2012, allegedly being paid a ridiculous salary of Rs. 80 million for her box office damper, ‘Heroine’ but last year Saif Ali Khan took a measly Rs. 45 Million home, nearly half of what his wife earns.

Meanwhile, husband Abhishek had to return his paycheck to the filmmakers when 2012’s ‘Players’ crashed and burned at the box office.
