Priyanka Chopra is taking
her biopic project on Mary Kom a tad too seriously but Pee Cee's
extreme interest in her work is apparently not welcomed by her
neighbours who are paying a price for being the star's building-mates.
The actress, who is essaying the role of the Olympic champ in
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production directed by Omung Kumar, has been
training for a while now. PC however apparently wants a punching bag to
be in a location convenient for her near her home at Raj Classic in
Versova. However, the star is said to be in no mood to allow it be
installed at her home or even her parents’ flat who live in the same
building she would prefer it in the complex’s premises elsewhere. She
might perhaps be worried about the hook that is needed to hang the bag
might harm the interiors of her swanky home.
A national tabloid quotes a source from the actresses' building
where she resides, “She owns quite a few flats in the building. It
appears that she does not want to tamper with the ceiling in any of her
homes in the building. Adds the source, “As she is busy with her
commitments, her father Ashok Chopra has been coordinating with the
society folks to install it on the ground floor of the premises.”
But this is not the first time PC's tantrums have troubled her
neighbours there have been other instances too. Click to know how Pee
Cee is a pain for her neighbours.
Considering her star status, the society apparently has allowed her
to install the bag in a common area, which is not too public.
Priyanka’s spokesperson however maintains, “As far as I know, the
punching bag already exists in the complex and it was not done for
Priyanka.”
In 2008, the Chopras had
an issue with the neighbours’ children who play and make a noise in the
building. They had voiced a concern at the noise that the kids make in
the building especially from those residing on the floors above and
below their apartments.
