After finishing the first schedule of ‘Chennai Express’
somehow, in Wai, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and director Rohit
Shetty have moved to Goa to relax. The relaxation was very much required
considering the chaos due to rains in Wai which destroyed the set and
took a toll over the entire cast and crew.
Our reliable sources elaborate, "The cast and crew of ‘Chennai
Express’ wrapped up the shooting in Wai last week but not really on a
good note. A huge lavish set was made on the location which was
destroyed by heavy rains in the last days. The team thankfully had
finished the shoot thus, were not bothered. Still, lot of chaos got
irritation on the sets.
It may be noted here, the shooting of the film was really hampered
with a mishap, in the past. Our reliable sources had informed us that
while shooting for a pivotal car stunt scene at Mugoan in Wai, the stunt
director Shankar Kataria lost control over the car. The car caught fire
and he got serious injuries. Kataria was immediately hospitalized due
to which shooting had to be stopped for some time.
As far the current status of the film is concerned, the entire team
has flown to Goa for the second schedule. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is heard
to shuttle between Goa and Kolkata Knight Riders matches at various
locations in India.
