After delivering hits like ‘Rowdy Rathore’, ‘Housefull 2’ and ‘Special 26’, Akshay Kumar is back in his khiladi avatar in the much awaited movie of 2013, ‘Boss’. The movie is a Hindi remake of the South hit ‘Pokkiri Raja’ starring south superstar Mammooty in the lead.
Akshay Kumar tweeted with the first look, saying, “Back with raw action in my next film. Guess karo, picture ka naam hai _ _ _ _?” Well, his fans know the answer, don’t they?
‘Boss’ has been directed by Anthony D’Souza and is co-produced by Viacom 18. The first look shows Akshay dressed rowdily and donned a khiladi style. His Boss avatar will remind us the days of International Khiladi and Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi.

Akshay insisted that the film will not have any female leads but later the makers felt that Akki’s fans might feel cheated if he is shown without his ladylove and finally Aditi Rao Hydari was included in the movie. Akki wanted to show himself as a lone gangster.
‘Boss’ is slated to hit the theatres on October 18.
