Kartik Tiwari of "Pyaar Ka Punchnama" fame says his role in Subhash Ghai-directed "Kaanchi" will be different from his previous two films.
"My character is military-based. It is a bit of an action film, it's a romantic-action-thriller," the 24-year-old said here Wednesday at the premiere of "Saare Jahaan Se Mehnga".
He said the film will release Aug 15 and added: "Let's see how it fares".
"It will be a very different film. 'Akaash Vani' had a lover boy, 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' had a boy who hated love and this one is action. So there is some range."
"Kaanchi" also stars newcomer Mishti as the female lead besides Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and Om Puri.
