Impressed with her debut Hindi film's trailer, Rohan Sippy has cast the newbie actress in his next film
Being at the right place at the right time makes all the difference in B-Town. Ironically, Rhea Chakrovarthy wasn't really at the venue when she caught Rohan Sippy's attention. So much so that the filmmaker decided to sign her up for his forthcoming film.
Apparently Rohan discovered Rhea at the premiere of Jab Tak Hai Jaan. But he didn't actually meet her. Turns out the trailer of Mere Dad Ki Maruti - in which the Bollywood rookie is making her big screen Hindi debut - was attached with the film and that's how Rohan got to know about the young Bong.
It seems like the 24-year-old newbie has just got her luck right. The actress started her career as a TV host before dabbling in a Telugu film. Last year she bagged Mere Dad... and the trailer proved lucky for her.
According to a source, the director-producer was coincidentally looking for a new face as well. `Rohan was already on the lookout for an unknown name and Rhea obviously impressed him. He is now willing to cast her in his next. In fact, he even called her for the screen test,` adds the source.
