Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan quit twitter

It’s a bad new for the ardent fans of two reigning superstars of Bollywood, Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan. The fans who has been constantly following Aamir and Shahrukh in social networking sites will have to cut ties with the two stars as both the stars going offline due to abusive comments on twitters by few followers and also due to the controversy that drew basically after Shahrukh wrote his feelings on his twitter page.
Twitter is a great social media in which everyone can express what they feels and thinks. They share their ideas and feeling to the world through it but off late some followers comments badly on one’s acting skill making fun of their work.
Shahrukh Khan tweeted last time on January 9, 2013 which reads: "Sad,i read so much judgements, jingoism, religious intolerance on the net & i use to think, this platform wl change narrowmindedness, but no!(sic)"
Shahrukh Khan is thinking on running his twitter account not directly but through his media manager.
Aamir too stopped posting comments on twitter for a some time. "It's been over six months since Aamir has actually updated his Twitter account. He occasionally posts on Facebook, which is linked to his Twitter handle. No one knows about it, but he has actually stopped checking his Twitter account," said a friend close to the actor, adding, "This way he is immune to the negativity of trolls." We believe his team monitors the rest.

Apparently, Aamir's nephew Imran Khan also went offline. "Imran was being attacked by trolls who were unsparing in their comments on his acting abilities. Imran has not just stopped checking, he has deleted his account," said a source close to the actor.

In 2012, Priyanka Chopra too temporarily quit twitter due to nasty and abusive comments she had received from some users. Even actor Imran Khan quit twitter after he was criticized for his acting talent.
Well, if it continues like these then days were not far when Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri and other stars who are active on twitter might permanently call it a quit.
