Kalki Koechlin has landed a role in 'Go Goa Gone' director duo Raj and DK's upcoming film
Close on the heels of the success of Ayan Mukerji's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Kalki Koechlin seems to have bagged yet another mainstream film. Known more for her offbeat films, the actress will be romancing Saif Ali Khan in director duo Raj and DK's next film.
The film is part of Saif's home production and is currently being shot in Los Angeles.
Our sources say, `There is no doubt that Kalki had made her mark with her first film Dev D but most of the mainstream filmmakers were wary of signing her and thought she had limited appeal.
After YJHD, the fact that she is playing an important character in Raj and DK's film proves that the actress has finally been accepted in Bollywood.`
Kalki confirms, `Yes, I am doing the film in a supporting role. I am very impressed with the director duo. They have a great sense of humour and the script has wonderful comic timing.`
