Madhuri Dixit won't shake a leg with Ranveer Singh

It is rumored that ace actress Madhuri Dixit has said ‘no’ to an item dance number in movie ‘Ram Leela’. She was supposed to do the item number with actor Ranveer singh.
Madhuri has also done an item song with Ranbir Kapoor. The song is titled ‘ghagra’ from Ayan Mukerji’s latest block buster ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’. The song was a hit number.
However the people from ‘Ram Leela’ tell the entire thing as a piece of gossip.
Says a source from the film, “There is no truth to these rumors.”
A source from the production team said, “We don't know where did this story of an item song with Madhuri and Ranveer Singh started. There is no situation for an item song in Ram Leela. Why would Sanjay repeat the Madhuri-younger hero format in an item song? This is nothing but someone's wishful thinking. Sanjay will call Madhuri to dance for his film only when there's a situation to better what he did in the Maar Daala and Kaahe Chede Chede Mohe dance numbers in Devdas.”
“However, the film's lead actress Deepika Padukone would be performing the most dazzling garba dance number in Ram Leela. It will project her as sensuously as Aishwarya Rai's Nimbooda number in ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’.” added the source.
Madhuri is observing her second comeback in the Bollywood. She has also been active on small screen through a reality dance show. Her upcoming movie in Bollywood is ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ directed by Abhishek Chaubey. The movie is produced by Raman Maroo and Vishal Bhardwaj. This movie is a sequel to the hit film ‘Ishqiya’ which was released in 2007. Apart from Madhuri Dixit, the other lead characters are being played by Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi and Huma Qureshi.
‘Dedh Ishqiya’ is a black comedy cum thriller movie. It will be released on 13^th December 2013. This is the first time that Madhuri will be playing a grey character called Shahi Begum. For this movie, Madhuri has also performed a ‘mujra’, titled ‘Apne karar mein’. Pandit Birju Maharaj has choreographed the dance sequence for this mujra song. The movie also observes an intimate scene between Naseeruddin Shah and Madhuri Dixit. The shooting for this scene has already taken place. The movie has been shot in Mehamoodabad palace near Barabanki town in Utter Pradesh. The town is in close proximity to Lucknow
