SRK-Gauri's baby boy weight 1.5kg, confirms BMC

Finally, the month long speculation of Shahrukh Khan
Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s surrogate baby is over and BMC has confirmed that baby boy was born to SRK and Gauri through surrogacy at Masrani hospital and it was a premature birth. The baby was born on May 27th at 34 weeks and weighed 1.5kg, BMC executive health officer DR Arun Bamne said.
Since the baby is underweight, there is a concern for his health and the child was taken from Masrani hospital to Nanavati, Juhu and then to Breach Candy hospital and finally the baby is at his own abode, Mannat. BMC has handed over the birth certificate to the parents.
There is not any official details about the woman who surrogated the baby but few days back, the report has been doing the round that Gauri’s sister-in-law Namita Chibber is the surrogate mother. But Khan’s family said that the surrogate mother had already flown back to London.
Civic officials said that the birth report was received by K-West officials in June and was immediately sent to the head office because there was a huge controversy over the child’s gender. It was been widely reported that the Shahruukh Khan has known the gender of the child before it’s birth which is illegal in Indian law.
The BMC had sent a team to Khan's residence on June 18 to determine the facts of the case, but the actor denied the reports. "Now that we have the birth certificate, we will follow the details of the child's journey from the nursing home to Nanavati Hospital in Juhu to Breach Candy Hospital," said a civic official.

When contacted, BMC additional municipal commissioner Manisha Mhaiskar said, "Our officials will now get back to the actor and get details about whether sex-determination tests were done in Mumbai."
Congrats to Shahrukh and Gauri!
