Anushka’s character in 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' revealed

Anushka Sharma the former model; turned actress with her debuting role of Taani Sahni in Yash Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. The lady began her career by signing a three movie contract with Yash Raj Film.  
Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a film which will see Anushka portrayed opposite Shah Rukh Khan second time. The first time when she was cast opposite King Khan was in her debut act in RNBDJ.
So the latest and hottest bit of news is that the role of the actress in her latest movie has been revealed. The Young actress plays the role of Akira. Akira is a documentary film maker in JTHJ. She sets out to archive the life of army officer Samar (Shahrukh Khan). Akira, the employee of Discovery Channel wants to make a documentary film on the life and story of Samar. Thus the entire movie is the story of the army officer viewed from the perspective of Akira by the viewers.
The movie more or less stands out to be a love triangle and stars Katrina Kaif as another lead character.
The movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan is making quite a lot of buzz thus building curiosity and increasing the interest of the audience.
The vice president of Yash Raj Films said the following in a statement, "We wanted to associate with the leading non-fiction channel and we are happy to partner with the world renowned Discovery Channel. Since, the role of Akira played by Anushka Sharma is an employee of the world known Discovery Channel. An official of the Yash Raj film is positively hopeful that this alliance will work wonders for both the parties that is the movie and the Discovery Channel.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan is the last and final directorial act of Yash Chopra with his sad and untimely demise due to dengue. Hopes are that the movie will do well at the box office and will make Yash Raj Films proud. The movie is scheduled to release on the 13^th of November with a bang.
