Gauri is the boss at home, says Shahrukh Khan



If you really like the interiors of Shahrukh Khan’s Mannat then all the credits goes to Gauri Khan because according to Shahrukh Khan Gauri designs the house. He said that Gauri is the boss of the house and as far as the designing of the house is concerned he does not interfere. He added when it comes to the interior of the house, Gauri is the boss. Gauri does not allow him to intervene on house décor.
"It's Gauri who decides what interior stuff to buy for home and what not, I am not allowed to say anything. But as far as the office is concerned. I am the boss," said Shahrukh at the launch of Vanita and Omung Kumar's furnishing store Bioscopewalli, on Wednesday.

Omung Kumar and wife Vanita are well-known Bollywood set designers and their worked is applauded in the movies ‘Black’ ‘Saawariya’ and Yuvvraj. Shahrukh Khan who inaugurated the store praised the store and said that the store is a delight to the eyes. Gauri is an interior decorator and she in joint association with Suzanne Roshan ventured into interior designing in 2010.In the same year, they collaborated on their first commercial project together in Vadodara.
In 2012, Gauri launched her own line of furniture in partnership with Roshan's home store in Mumbai – The Charcoal Project. She explains as why she choose interior design, “I started off as an artist in school with various sketches. I continued that as a hobby for many years, and I think that is where my designs come from". Gauri and Shahrukh are the brand ambassador of D'decor.
Shahrukh Khan is busy promoting his film ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’ which is slated to release this Diwali. The film stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead. A grand premiere of the film has been planned by Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela Chopra.
In the film Shahrukh is playing an army officer, Katrina his ladylove and Anushka a documentary filmmaker.
Yash Chopra had in his mind to shoot a song in Switzerland with Shahrukh and Katrina but unfortunately he passed away before. The song has been shelved.
