Hrithik Released From Hospital Today After Successful Surgery

Hrithik Roshan has come out of surgery well. He will be released today. "Hrithik is doing fine now. He will be discharged tomorrow at around 9:30 AM," said a source at the Hinduja Hospital.

Hrithik was shooting for his next film, Bang Bang which is supposed to show a number of great stunts. It is directed by Siddharth Anand and Hrithik stars opposite Katrina Kaif. Hrithik will be performing a number of stunts himself. It was during the shooting of one of these stunts in Phuket, Bangkok that he got hurt on the head.
Rakesh Roshan, the father of the celebrated actor said,  "He was shooting for Bang Bang in Phuket, Bangkok. He was doing a stunt where he had to put a jet on his feet and go 30 feet high in the sky and then dive down in the water."
"So when he rehearsed, he fell the wrong way and banged his head a bit, which he didn't realise. That started his pain and he started taking pain killers, thinking it will get fine in three to four days because something similar had happened during Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai also."
However, the pain refused to go away. In fact, it worsened so much that Hrithik had to consult a doctor. "Friday night (July 5) he told my wife (Pinki) that 'I am not comfortable and something is wrong inside'. So we took another CT scan and MRI. On Saturday morning (July 7) we got them done and then we were told there is a blood clot," said his father. The trauma had lead to the formation of a blod clot between the outer and middle layer of the covering of the brain. He was admitted into the hospital on the same day and was operated upon on the next day. The actor is doing well now and will be released today. However, he has been advised complete rest for the next four weeks.

Hope your doing d same! I'm fantastic by the way! Thanks to all your love and wishes!" the actor wrote on his Facebook account from the hospital bed.
The film Bang Bang is to be shot across Europe and the third schedule is still left. The dates have now been adjusted to accommodate the injury of the actor. Hrithik has also just finished the shooting of Krrish 3 with his father Rakesh Roshan.
