Its Parineeti v/s Ileana for Barjatya’s next

For the upcoming movie of ace director Sooraj Barjatya, the leading lady is yet to be finalized. However the director has zeroed down on two names and they are Parineeti Chopra

Parineeti Chopra and Ileana D Cruz.  The lead male actor role will be played by Barjatya’s favorite, Salman Khan.

Earlier there were speculations about other actresses like Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma playing the lead. But the director mentioned that it’s Parineeti and Ilena who fit perfectly in the character. Like always, Sooraj is going for a family drama. He has earlier worked with Salman in three movies viz ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ released in 1989, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ released in 1994 and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ released in 1999. All these movies were hit and fetched very good business. So both the actor and the director are optimistic of their association in the upcoming project.
A source said, “The fact is, Sooraj has gone through a list of actresses and selected Ileana and Parineeti as the final two. He is currently abroad scouting for locations for his Salman-starrer. When he returns, he will meet the two girls again and have script-reading sessions with them in Hindi, after which it will be decided which will be the lucky girl to be cast opposite Salman.”
Well Sooraj got dates to work with Salman even when other directors like Boney Kapoor and Prabhudheva are in queue. “Sooraj (Barjatya) got really lucky. Bhai will start shooting for Sajid’s film in July, post which he will do Sooraj’s film”, said a source.
Sooraj narrated the story to Salman and he liked the story so much that he immediately agreed to do the next film with Barjatya under Rajshree Productions banner. Both will be dong film together after 14 years. It was under Rajshree banner that Salman did his first movie ‘Biwi Ho toh Aisi’. Salman is anyways obliged to Rajshree production which is now handled by Sooraj Barjatya. Their association will hopefully see another hit movie coming up.  The movie will go on floor from October onwards. Right now Salman is busy shooting for ‘Mental’ and Sajid Nadiawala’s ‘Kick’.
The film is going to be an emotional family drama working on the lines of family values. The relationship between two brothers will be the central story of the film. Salman will play the elder brother. For the younger brother, Arjun Kapoor will be tied up most probably.
