Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee’s brother Raja Mukherjee was arrested in a molestation charges. A small time television actress accused Rani’s brother Raja Mukherjee of molesting her. He was arrested by Versova police on Sunday.
According to the report, the incident took place when the actress went to meet Raja to narrate a script. Police said that Raja tried to molest the actress in his car. "The woman had gone to show Raja Mukherjee a script. He tried to molest her in the car," said ACP Narsingh Sherkhan.
After the complaint was lodged, Raja Mukherjee was sent for medical tests and later taken into custody. Raja is currently locked in Andheri jail.A case under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against him. He will be produced in the court today.
Rani’s Mukherjee’s brother Raja is a TV producer and recently entered into TV serial direction. He has a baby girl from wife Jyoti.
