Aamir Khan's date with Bill Gates

What would happen when Bollywood’s perfectionist Khan aka Aamir Khan will meet Microsoft’s founder and one of the richest men in the world Bill Gates in Mumbai?......this will be definitely worth a watch! Last time when Gates visited India, he made sure that he met Aamir Khan and as he expressed, Gates was definitely awestruck by Khan’s talent and inclination towards social upliftment in India.
Post ‘Satyamev Jayate’, Aamir Khan is definitely going places. He is not only UNICEF’s goodwill ambassador for child nutrition and well-being, but is also a known face for other social issues that got catapulted after the show began. Khan’s dedication towards the cause and his approach towards social responsibility that every citizen of India must have is definitely worth appreciation. As others are, it seems Bill Gates is also highly impressed by the actor’s endeavour.
In an interview, Gates mentioned that though he had a hectic schedule planned during his next visit to India, he would definitely like to meet Aamir Khan. Gate’s philanthropic organization Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has been involved in many activities of social importance in India like those of upliftment and empowerment of the poor, agricultural development, HIV, family planning and tuberculosis. Gates added that currently the organization was carrying out vaccine trials that could be of importance in the prevention of prevailing diseases in India.
Bill Gates seems to be interested to partner with Aamir Khan and his endeavour to wards social activism. Inspired by the actor’s pioneering work, Gates is hopeful that together they could bring in important changes in the society. Bill humorously added that he was also a huge fan of the actor and would be obliged if Khan could show him some typical Bollywood dance moves as well.
Aamir Khan launched his much awaited dream ‘Satyamev Jayate’ on television last year. Since its inception, the program has been unique in the way it has brought to light many social issues like women upliftment, female foeticide, dowry and child labour . The program created a strong stir among people and has even resulted in some reforms since then.
As people are looking forward to the second season of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ to be aired very soon, Bill Gates and Aamir Khan’s meeting could be an important milestone in this direction. This association could be something definitely to look forward to in the future!
