After plans to head to Hungary fell through, Aamir Khan's next will now be shot in Belgium instead
Rajkumar Hirani's film that stars Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma has been in the making for a while. With shoot schedules apparently lagging behind and crewmembers opting out of the project, the film has been on the floors for a while.
The film was earlier supposed to be partly shot in Hungary but that too got cancelled at the last moment. However, looks like the work on the film is finally picking up speed again, as the cast and crew are apparently all set to leave for Belgium.
While the usual outdoor locations in Europe like Switzerland and England have been depicted in several Hindi films, Belgium, also known as the cockpit of Europe, will apparently be a first.
A source from the unit says, `After the Hungary schedule being cancelled, the makers were looking for another location that suited their script and finally they zeroed upon Belgium. The film portrays Aamir as an Indian student studying in Belgium and his portions along with some of Anushka Sharma's scenes and a music track will be shot in the city of Bruges.`
Currently, the film is being shot in Mumbai and the team is believed to be looking forward to their three-week schedule in Europe.
