Jiah Khan was depressed due to personal issues, says a source

Jiah Khan hangs herself from the ceiling fan of her room late last night. The 25-year-old actress was learnt to be depressed due to personal issues for quite sometime. Police was interrogating the watchman, maid and neighbor of the actress but nothing has been clear till now.

Jiah’s mother discovered her dead body in the morning. Her body was taken to postmortem at Cooper Hospital in Juhu.  The incident took place around 11pm at her Juhu residence on Monday night

"She had been depressed for some time due to personal issues, but was keen on returning to acting soon. She was also meeting filmmakers regarding projects," sources close to the actress said.
Around 3am in the morning veteran actor Aditya Pancholi visited her residence. Actress Dia Mirza was the first to break the news on twitter.
Bold, long legged and confident Jiah Khan debuted in Bollywood opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Nishabd’. She then starred in Aamir Khan starrer, ‘Ghajini’ and was last seen in Sajid Khan’s ‘Housefull’ opposite Akshay Kumar.
She was only 25 and Bollywood was taken by surprise with the sudden demise the actress. One of the first reactions was from her first co-star Amitabh Bachchan who tweeted: "T 1128 -WHAT ...!!! Jiah Khan ??? what has happened ? is this correct ? unbelievable !!!"
Bipasha Basu tweeted: "#Rip Jiah Khan!God bless her soul!"
Shahid Kapoor, with who Jiah had been cast in Chance Pe Dance before being replaced by Genelia D'Souza, tweeted: "Shocked n saddened to hear about jiah khan... Very disturbing... RIP... may her soul rest in peace."
Jiah committed suicide in the same pattern like supermodels and actresses Nafisa Joseph and Viveka Babajee. They too committed suicide by hanging themselves.  Police is going deep into the matter to know what cased Jiah to take such a drastic step.
