Parineeti Chopra injured during film shooting

Parineeti Chopra was injured on the sets of her upcoming movie Hasee toh Phasee. The actress was shooting for a close up shot and unfortunately she was hit by the camera matt box. For a few seconds no body realized the gravity of the situation. It was only when she started crying with the excruciating pain that people saw blood oozing out from the area near her eye.  She was immediately administered first aid and cold compress. However the area beside her eye started swelling up and turned blue. Like a true professional actress, Parineeti finished her shooting of that particular day with a little touch up of makeup. But then considering her worsening injury, shooting for the next day was cancelled and parineeti was advised to take rest.

The film Hasee toh Phasee is the third movie for this 24 year old actress. She first appeared in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl starring opposite Ranveer Singh.  For this movie she received best debut female award from filmfare. Her subsequent movie was Ishaqzaade.
The movie Hasee toh Phasee is scheduled to release in January next year. The movie is directed by Vinil Mathew and is produced jointly by Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap under Dharma and Phantom Productions. It is a romantic comedy movie and is based on love triangle. The lead actor in the male category is being played by Sidharth Malhotra. For Sidharth, this is the second movie after Student of the Year. Adah Sharma will also appear in this movie.  In an interview about the movie, producer Anurag Kashyap said,” The story works with fresh faces, but requires a high level of chemistry and maturity in the performances. After spending months, shortlisting various actors, we finalized Siddharth and Parineeti Chopra. Adah Sharma is also the lead actress other than Parineeti. When asked about working with Vinil, actor Sidharth said,” It didn't feel like the first day of shoot because he is so sorted and knows exactly what he wants. He made us rehearse a lot during a two month workshop before shooting began".
With the coming of New Year, it seems audiences will have a Christmas bonanza with three charming actors in the lead role. So get ready to witness a love triangle that unfolds on January 10^th,2014 with the release of Hasee toh Phasee. And our good wishes are there with the crew of Hasee toh Phasee.
