Police to retrieve Suraj Pancholi's deleted messages to Nafisa Jiah Khan

Police to retrieve Suraj Pancholi's deleted messages to Nafisa Jiah Khan

Suraj Pancholi's mobile had no text messages by his girlfriend late Nafisa Jiah Khan, who hanged herself to death a couple of days ago. Mumbai Police is shocked to have found no messages sent by Jiah through BB messenger or What's app  in Suraj's smart phone.

"We found an abusive message of Suraj ('U have made my life miserable by spying on me J', 'u have made my life prison')  on Jiah's mobile sent a couple of hours prior to her death, but Suraj had allegedly deleted those SMSes from his sent box," says a police source.

Similarly, Jiah too had sent multiple messages to Suraj, which were retrieved from her sent box, but surprisingly, were missing in Suraj's inbox.

"We have already asked the mobile service provider to help us in retrieving the deleted data. Also, the smart phone, in all probability, is going to be seized, and the phone data retrieved from its internal drive," confirmed a Police official.

Once all the statements are done and data is retrieved, we shall reconstruct the sequences of messages exchanged and set an appropriate line of investigation if we have to nail the suspect," added a Police source.
