Salman Khan Akshay Kumar clash: Who will rule Box Office in January?

It's well-known by now that Salman Khan has booked dates for two of his upcoming releases - Kick and Mental - well in advance. And when the bhai of Bollywood books his dates - no other producer or director  dare interfere with their own films. Usually, when a Khan (Shah Rukh, Aamir or Salman) release is slated for release in a particular month, the rest of the filmmakers skip the complete month and wait for the next month for their release, especially after the super success of the last few films of Salman (Dabangg, Bodyguard, etc).

Even Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan space out their film's release intelligently, considering that the three of them understand the film business well, and refrain from clashing.

But, if the latest buzz is to be believed, Akshay Kumar does not care about Salman's release dates (which were fixed and announced some time back). Akshay Kumar, who was to act in the remake of the Tamil blockbuster Thuppakki, is set to have his film released in January 10, 2014, even as Salman Khan's Mental is releasing on January 26 the same month. Now, as to which film will be affected is still unpredictable because Sallu's movies are blockbusters and the Tamil film Thuppakka (which Vipul Shah is remaking) made a 100 crores plus mark in the South film industry.
