Big B, Jaya, Madhuri attend premiere of 'English Vinglish'

Sridevi’s English Vinglish premiered at the PVR, in Goregaon, a western suburb in Mumbai. Quite a lot of stars were present to walk down the red carpet on the evening of October 4^th. The film has been released today, October 5^th. The film has received rave reviews from the critics.
Sridevi with her husband, filmmaker Boney Kapoor and daughters Jhanvi and Khushi were present at the occasion. Sr. Bachchan along with wife Jaya was also spotted. Amitabh is also playing a small cameo in the movie .Sridevi and Amitabh last worked in 1992 in the super hit film Khuda Gawah. Incidentally Amitabh was also present during the premiere of Chittagong, a film produced by Anurag Kashyap.
Director Gauri Shinde was present to welcome her guests. She too looked stunning in her red dress. Her husband Balki was also present. This is his first venture as a producer. He had good success with his last film with Amitabh Bachchan, Paa and Cheeni Kum.
Next up was Madhuri Dixit. She was spotted along with husband Dr. Sriram Nene. Sridevi and Madhuri had been contemporaries of each other. They both have acted in numerous hits in the late 80s and the 90s. The two appeared together on the small screen for the first time for a special show of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
From the Kapoor clan, another important celebrity, Sanjay Kapoor was also present, along with wife Maheep Kapoor.
Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha was seen sporting a blue shirt at the event. She was accompanied by mother Poonam Sinha. Kangana Ranaut was spotted in a short pleated dress, while Tabu looked elegant and stylish in a green sari with a cutout blouse.
Bipasha Basu too went for the traditional look. She was seen wearing a Masaba Gupta sari. She looked very stunning in that. To catch a glimpse of her favorite actress, Sridevi; Bipasha took a break from the shooting of her movie Aatma.
Vidya Balan too was seen walking down the red carpet. She looked quite at ease with the brilliantly colored bright yellow anarakali dress. Zarine Khan was seen donning a body con dress, showing off her curves amply.
Yash Chopra, Ashutosh Gowariker, Ayesha Takia, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra were also seen at the grand opening of the movie. The interest generated by the movie seems awesome. Hopefully the audiences will like it too.
