Debut film of Vaibhavi to star Rani

Vaibhavi Merchant is a well known name in Bollywood. She is the granddaughter of legendary choreographer B. Hiralal and herself is a successful choreographer too. She started her film career as an actress and acted in the Malayalam movie Snehapoorvam Anna. However, the movie could not make a mark at the box office and she soon returned to her root of dancing.
She got her first big break in the movie ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ where she single handedly choreographed the dancing for the song ‘Dhol Baaje’. Her work in the song was appreciated by the audience and the critics alike. There was no looking back since and she has gone ahead working in many successful projects. Few of the successful films in which she did the choreography are Lagaan, Karzz, DUM, Kuch Na Kaho, Baghban, Rudraksh, Muskaan, Lakshya, Kyun! Ho Gaya Na..., Fida, Dhoom, Tashan, Bhootnath, Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, Dostana, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Luck By Chance, Kambakkht Ishq, Dil Bole Hadippa!, Kurbaan, The Wedding Planner, Game, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, Aiyaa and Ek Tha Tiger etc. Recently she was seen in the dance reality show ‘Just Dance’ along with Farah Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
As she established herself in Bollywood as a choreographer, she also nurtured her dream of making a film one day.  She recently stated in an interview that she plans to direct a film in the near future and her friend Rani Mukerji will be certainly in the lead role of the movie.
No comment on the issue is still given by Rani. They are good friends of the Bollywood industry and we certainly hope Rani would love to work in a Vaibhavi Merchantfilm. Will then Vaibhavi be the next Farah Khan in the making? (Successful switch from choreography to film direction)
Well! This is too early to predict anything. The story of the film or the other details of the film is not yet divulged.  We wonder who will be the other actors or actresses in the movie. Will Vaibhavi be producing the movie or a production house is already being finalized? Rani might as well produce the movie for her friend, who knows? There are too many speculations as of now.  Let us be patient and wait for more details of the project to appear on board.
