Veteran actress and wife of late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, Sharmila Tagore invited Indian President Pranab Mukherjee to her son and actor Saif Ali Khan’s wedding with actress Kareena Kapoor.
Sharmila Tagore met President Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan and spent about 15 minutes. During their short conversation, Sharmila invited President Mukherjee and his family to the wedding. The President congratulated Sharmila Tagore on the wedding of her son.
Due to prior commitment, sources informed that Pranab Mukherjee is doubtful about attending the event.
Saif and Kareena will enter into matrimony on October 16. The venue of their wedding is the ancestral Pataudi Palace. The wedding will be a private affair and only close family members will be invited. After the wedding, a grand reception will be thrown for friends and close ones.
Ace designer Ritu Kumar has been entrusted the task of designing Kareena Kapoor's royal wedding dress. After marriage, Kareena will change her surname to Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Kareena and Saif are looking forward to the great event. Bebo will continue acting after marriage. She has signed Prakash Jha’s ‘Satyagraha’; the shooting of the film will start from January. She has also signed Karan Johar’s movie opposite Imran Khan.
