For his upcoming movie “Chennai Express” Shahrukh Khan
Shahrukh Khan has pulled up his socks and is
ensuring that everything relating to the movie meets perfection. In the same
line he has asked his lead actress Deepika Padukone to learn Tamil so that she
could act like a Tamil girl and could speak with Tamil accent.
Shah Rukh also made the actress watch Tamil movies and listen to Tamil conversation carefully. Deepika confirmed this and said, “"Working with him is always fun and a learning experience. In this movie, he helped me out with my Tamil accent. He showed me Tamil films and made me hear the accent carefully. This is funny because in ‘Om Shanti Om’, he was the one who would tease me for my Konkani accent”.
Praising Deepika for her dedication Shah Rukh said, “Deepika is a surprise package, and she is going to outdo her own performances (in this film).”
“Chennai Express” is a Hindi action comedy film. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty and is produced by wife of Shahrukh Khan, Gauri Khan, under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The lead roles are being played by Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. This is the first time that Shahrukh will work will Rohit Shetty, however, both the lead actors Shahrukh and Deepika have worked together in the block buster movie “Om Shanti Om” which was released in 2007. Shetty said about Shahrukh, “The kind of respect he gave me and the kind of faith he has shown in me as an actor and a producer is unbelievable.”
“It will be a lot of fun, as (much fun as) it was working on it. This is also Rohit’s first major love story. This romance is for all age groups.” said a source.
The movie is scheduled to be released on 8th August 2013. This movie has been banned in Pakistan by Pakistani Distributors as four of their Pakistani movies are getting released on the same day. For the same reason, Akshay Kumar starrer movie “Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Again” is also banned in Pakistan.
All the Hindi film lovers are eagerly waiting for the release of the film and it is anticipated to be the next big hit of the King Khan.
