Saif Ali Khan gets the natural tan look for 'Bullet Raja'

There are few actors who really go out of the way to get into the character designated to them for a particular movie and Saif Ali Khan
Saif Ali Khan is one of them. The actor is trying to get a natural tan by exposing himself for long hours in the mid day sun. He is getting tanned to portray the character of a rural gangster that he is playing in the movie “Bullet Raja”.
The movie is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. When Tigmanshu narrated the role to Saif, he opted for the natural tan rather than the makeup. Though the director insisted that the natural tan look would not be required and that it would be uncomfortable for the actor to face the scorching sun, yet Saif decided to go for the natural tan.
“Saif really puts in a lot of effort to get into his character. Tigmanshu wanted a certain tanned look since he is playing a rural gangster. When Saif learned this, he decided that instead of the make-up he would sit outside his van in the afternoons to get the natural tanned look. We all told him that it was not necessary to do that as it was really scorching hot, but he did not listen to us.” revealed a close source.
In order to get a natural tan, the 42 years old actor sits outside his van in the afternoon. Not only for this movie but for other movies also, Saif is known to diligently toil to portray the character perfectly. For “Omkara” also, he took a lot of pain to get into the skin of his character.
Movie “Bullet Raja” is produced by Rahul Mitra and is scheduled for release on 6th September 2013. The other casts of the movie are Sonakshi Sinha as the female lead, Jimmy Shergill, Ravi Kishan, Chunky Pandey and Vidyut Jamwal. The film is a gangster thriller movie. The backdrop of the movie is the mafia raj in Uttar Pradesh.
Other than Saif, Katrina is the other actor who went a few shades darker for imbibing a rough and tough look for her upcoming movie “Bang-Bang”.
According to Kareena she was astonished to see Saif getting a couple of shades darker after he returned from his shoot one evening. Since the Nawab lad has put in a lot of effort, we do wish the movie to rock the theaters.
