Aamir is confident about 'Talaash' hitting the bull’s eye

The audiences have high-expectations from “Talaash”, purely on the basis of the star cast- Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Rani Mukerji. Also because it is an Aamir Khan film, the content of the film is also being considered one-of a kind.
Aamir Khan normally has always released his films during Christmas. However, this film will be breaking all those rules and will be releasing on a Friday which is a work-day. The film is going to be a huge release as he was last seen in “Dhobi Ghaat” (2009) which was his wife’s directorial debut.
All his last films- “Taare Zameen Par”, “Ghajini” and “3 Idiots”- had been huge hits and they had all released during Christmas.
“Talaash” will be releasing in 2400 screens all across India.” Talaash” had been in the news for a long time since its inception. It was supposed to be released earlier this year but got delayed as certain portions were re-shot. As the days are nearing for its release the excitement and buzz surrounding it too is increasing.
A spokesperson stated, “’Talaash’ is the most anticipated film of the season. Trade is very excited as it is very strong for non-holiday Friday.” This film has been made with a budget of 40 crores. This amount has already been recovered from it satellite sales only, making it the highest ever to have been recovered from the satellite sales.
However, the publicity of this film has been very low-key compared to the other films that have been released during this time. The cast made a few appearances to promote their film. Aamir also appeared on television in CID.
However, his marketing skills have always been innovative and extensive but this time around things are different. When the director of the film Reema Kagti had been approached for her word on this she said “We are sandwiched between Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardaar on one Friday and Khiladi 786 on the next Friday. All these three are big extravagantly-hyped films. We had two choices - either we made ourselves heard louder than these biggies, which was impossible; or we spoke in a much quieter tone than our competition. We've chosen the latter option.”
Thus the promotional strategy has been deliberately made so but this seems to have been working in its favour. “Talaash” is releasing on the 30th of November and is surely going to lay a heavy mark in Indian cinema. Talaash - Wallpapers
