“Dabangg 2” has been buzzing the news headlines for some time now. More so, because it is a Salman Khan film and “Dabangg” has already set a standard. Also it is going to be the first time since 1989 that Salman Khan’s film will be releasing on Christmas. The first and the last time it so happened was when his debut film “Maine Pyar Kiya” had released.
This film is the next big release after “Talaash” and “Khiladi 786” and thus the audiences are looking forward to this film.
“Dabangg 2” will definitely take the scores higher. Be it Chulbul Pandey’s antics or the action of the film, it will definitely appeal to the masses.
The song “Munni Badnaam” which starred Malaika Arora Khan and Salman Khan set the entire nation grooving. This time around Kareena Kapoor has been called on board to do the item number for this film. The item song has been titled “Fevicol se” and it is going to be her first outing for an item number after her marriage. This song will be giving a tough fight to Malaika’s “Munni Badnaam”, Katrina’s “Chikni Chameli” and Kareena’s very own “Halkat Jawani” and “Chammak Challo”.
The film promotions started with Arbaaz Khan unveiling the first trailer of “Dabangg 2” on the reality show “Bigg Boss” which is hosted by Salman Khan. Now Kareena Kapoor will release the first look of her item song on the sets of the reality show. The episode will be aired on Saturday.
“Fevicol se” is one of the most anticipated item numbers of the year. This song has been choreographed by Farah Khan. It is for the masses and thus there was scope to put in some capers. It will show Kareena put on the famous Chulbul Pandey shades and imitate him.
A source from the sets revealed, “A sequence has been shot in the song where Kareena dons Salman bhai’s Dabangg frames. Farah (filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan) wanted some element in the song that was massy, yet uber cool and so we decided to give Kareena the shades contrasting her lucknowi dhoti-kurta look and she has rocked the look completely. She was more than happy to imitate the style of one of her favorite co-stars.”
Kareena has been sporting a sizzling look for the song of this film. She is all set to scorch the screens with “Fevicol se” that will be setting a benchmark for the item numbers that are yet to come.
