After the success of ‘Rowdy Rathore’, ace choreographer cum director Prabhu Deva is back with another interesting and never heard before movie title, 'ABCD-Any Body Can Dance’. The film is considered to be away from the track and very unique. The film has been produced by UTV Motions Pictures and directed by choreographer cum director Remo D’Souza. ABCD is India’s first dance film in 3D and the movie is slated to release on 8th February 2013.
‘ABCD-Any Body Can Dance’ is a highly entertaining film and one of it’s kind. It speaks about the passion and love for dance and the moral of the story is that if you have interest, dedication to do something then nothing is impossible, whatever barriers come your way, you can overcome it confidently and come out with flying colors.
The story speaks about a Chennai guy who is a dancer; he beats all the obstacle and achieve success.
Prabhu Deva plays the main protagonist. Kay Kay Menon plays the stubborn dance instructor who trains an elite group of dancers. The basic mantra of Kay Kay is one must dance to ‘impress’. However, Prabhu Deva teaches a different mantra to his ragtag bunch. According to him, one must dance to ‘express’.
The film features performers from reality show 'Dance India Dance', which Remo D’Souza had previously judged. The show's winners Salman Yusuf Khan, Dharmesh Yelande, Prince Gupta, Mayuresh Wadkar and Vrushali Chavan will play central roles. The pivotal roles are played by Prabhu Deva, Kay Kay Menon and Lauren Gottlieb.
