“Talaash” is an upcoming film of Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji. The film is all set for a release on the 30th of November. Its star cast is really strong and therefore that is completely in favour of the film.
The film had first been offered to Shah Rukh Khan who declined the offer and then it went to Aamir. Aamir was last seen in a full-fledged film in “3 Idiots” that released in 2009. Next he was seen in his wife’s directorial debut “Dhobi Ghat” (2011) in which he had a special appearance.
Therefore this film “Talaash” is going to be Aamir’s film in a long time. Therefore the hype and excitement surrounding it is extraordinary. He plays the role of a cop who is set on a mission to unravel a mystery. In the process he gets involved with Kareena’s character that spells tragedy for his marriage with Rani.
This film will be Kareena Kapoor’s first release after her wedding and thus there were speculations regarding the name that will flash in the credits of this film. She has grown to be a flawless actor with time. She has reached a level where she can pull through an entire film on her own. She plays the role of a prostitute in the film that entangles herself with Aamir. She definitely has something to contribute to the mystery. Thus there is another level of eagerness surrounding this film.
Rani Mukerji, on the other hand, is known purely on the basis of her acting mettle. She has unmatched skills and because she is seen so less onscreen, the only films that she comes up with in a long time creates a lot of interest in the audiences. She looks sombre in the film’s promos and it is clear from the other parts of the trailer what bothers her. Her track generates compassion, consideration and curiosity. She looks her part in the film of that of a wronged wife.
The film’s director is Reema Kagti who had previously directed “Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd”. She has also co-written “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” with Zoya Akhtar and thus she has previously proved her skills and understanding of cinema.
The film is being co-produced by Riteish Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment along with Aamir Khan’s Aamir Khan Productions.
The songs of this film have been composed by Ram Sampath of (Delhi Belly fame) which is already creating buzz among the audiences.
