Kareena Kapoor was always making news with her relationship with Saif Ali Khan. From its inception, after dumping a certain Shahid Kapur, to their five-year long courtship and to their marriage, the relationship they shared has been written about in the media.
Recently the couple tied the knot on the 16th of October. The celebrations continued for five-days and were split between Mumbai and Delhi. Only very close associates from the film industry had made it to the guest list other than close family and friends. The reception at Delhi saw some VVIPs attending it.
After the wedding the media left no stone unturned, to get to know about the personal equations each of the family member shares with each other. Soha Ali Khan was recently under the radar to understand her take on her sister-in law Kareena Kapoor. The reason being the two were reported to have been bonding a lot in the weeks of the wedding preparation and after that.
A source close to both of them revealed “Soha has always been fond of Kareena and the two share a great relationship. After the wedding, Soha was very excited about Kareena becoming a part of their family. She was a close confidante to Kareena throughout the wedding ceremony. After the wedding, when the family took off to Delhi for the reception and then to Pataudi, Soha was by her side."
When Soha was quizzed on her relationship with Kareena she reiterated the same thoughts, “She is very sweet. I have actually spent a lot of time with her in the last two weeks. It's great fun.”
Even when only the marriage plans had been announced last year, Soha revealed her affinity for Kareena. She had said talking about her that she is “already part of the family.”
She also threw some light on the Saif-Kareena relationship saying, “All of us are very fond of Kareena. Besides being fully supportive, she is a very caring and nice person. Both bhai (brother) and Kareena are very good together. She makes him happy and completes him in so many ways. They make a very good couple. Their relationship has become very strong. Both Kareena and bhai have grown a lot as a couple.”
That reveals some attachment on the part of Soha and Kareena. Such bonding is rarely seen between two public figures but it seems that Kareena has been managing her relationships with Saif’s family pretty well.
