Kjo's Student of the Year likely to reach over 60 crore

Student of the Year, the romantic comedy film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar and Gauri Khan bringing together both the banners Dharma productions and Red Chilies Entertainment. The movie is directed by our very own Karan Johar.
The movie revolves around three characters namely Rohan played by Varun Dhawan, Shanaya played by Alia Bhatt and Abhimanyu by Sidharth Malhotra.
All the actors in the lead being new comers, it will be fun to watch what they have that is refreshing in store for their viewers.
The movie plot goes like this, while Rohan the coolest kid in the block enjoys all the fortunes and is a rich brat, Abhimanyu on the other hand belongs to humble family.
All are aware of Karan Johar’s signature style of creating worlds that can only stick to one in fantasy. Thus we will find one such world in this one as well, a super clean campus with pretty girls and handsome boys moving around boasting out their expensive and branded belongings.
The movie is more or less a love triangle along with some college drama. It is the Karan Johar magic that brings in foot fall to all his movies. KJ has a beautiful ability to beautify and exaggerate a very basic setting into a larger than life world of fantasy with his Midas touch.
Student of the Year pulled in around Rs 51 crore, accounting for its past ten day collection. The movie made around Rs 8 crore by its second weekend. It is doing well at the box office.
Box Office has estimated that the movie may make more than 60 crore in business. It will continue with its shows till this Diwali.
With a holiday on previous Wednesday, the movie picked up its pace during the weekdays. It was observed that the movie did better in Delhi than in Mumbai. Student of the Year has netted  about Rs 41 crore by the end of its first weekend.
While watching the movie you will find parts of yourself in all the characters, played by various actors. Characters like the best friend of the girl who is a nerd and the fat boy who is made fun of by everyone are the stereotype character you won’t miss in this movie. Rishi Kapoor’s acting is something to look out for. A must watch to find out what Karan Johar has to offer the audience this time with his holiday release.
