For the last four years, box-office king Salman Khan has captured the Eid slot. His last four Eid releases ‘Wanted’, Dabangg, Bodyguard and 2012 Eid release ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ has sparked magic. Salman has created a new 100 crore club in Bollywood. If Salman keeps the time slot of Eid for him than Shahrukh is no way less. He always stored surprises for his fans on Diwali every year.
Sallu and SRK’s rival is known to all but it seems the differences between them is narrowing. Shahrukh on his part is making all the efforts to sort out the differences but Sallu is showing no efforts. Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming film, ‘Chennai Express’ are slated to release on 2013 Eid but when King Khan came to know that Salman is planning to remake ‘Brindavanam’ in Hindi with brother Sohail Khan and will release the film on the same day, he stepped back. Shahrukh gave Salman the Eid 2013 slot. His film, ‘Chennai Express’ might release 2-3 week gap post the release of Salman’s film
Trade analyst Taran Aarsh told a leading daily, "It would have been a very dangerous fight. The industry needs to co-exist. Don't eat into each other's share. I would say the same for Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son of Sardar too (both slated to release on November 13)."
Let’s see how Salman returns Shahrukh’s kind gesture.
